About

Hello, I’m Omunank De Elijah, and I write Hambanathisa.

I started this site because so many people carry the hurt of past relationships into the search for real love, and many quietly wonder whether real love exists at all. I believe it does. I write about relationships and personality to help people understand themselves and the people they care about a little better, and to offer some hope along the way.

The name Hambanathisa means “walk with us.” That is how I think of this site: a place where you don’t have to work things out alone. Here you’ll find guides to how people give and receive love, why we react the way we do in close relationships, and how to communicate, apologize, and rebuild trust. There is also a short quiz that scores your own answers to show your love language.

How I write

I draw on well-known frameworks such as love languages, attachment theory, and research on how couples communicate, and I try to explain them plainly, without hype. I’m careful about what these ideas can and can’t tell us. They are useful ways to start a conversation, not diagnoses.

An honest note

I’m not a therapist, and nothing here replaces professional counseling. If you’re dealing with deep hurt, abuse, or a crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or someone you trust.

If you’d like to share a question, a correction, or a topic you want covered, I’d love to hear from you on the Contact page.

Thank you for walking with us.
